A clear glass window pane
With a view outside
Can do so much for the soul

I see the peaceful houses in a row
People slowly starting to get up
I see the trees slowly swaying in the wind
The edges painted in gold by the sun’s glow

I see the bird’s flitting about
Choosing a branch to deliver their morning song in
I see the clear blue sky
Tranquil, calm, and serene

A beautiful peace overcomes me
A calm deep within that knows
Wise beyond its years, an ancient intuition
It takes hold and settles in my heart

And I know I only need to look at this window
In the peace of the morning
In the silence of new beginnings
In the dawn of another day
To know that everything will be okay.
